The effects of climate change are putting pressure on organisations and nations worldwide to implement greener and more efficient energy solutions and have created a new push of energy transitions through most industrial sectors.
Unfortunately, most European companies, around 90 % of which employ fewer than 10 persons, don’t have the financial capabilities and utilities necessary to make efficient energy transitions and move towards digitalised solutions.
The EU-funded FLEX4FACT project aims to change this by developing an end-to-end ecosystem that will enable flexible manufacturing and efficient and beneficial energy transition for all stakeholders. To achieve this, it will offer flexible services that allow for easier digitalisation, an end-to-end approach to technology stacks and a modular service methodology.
